(in)visibilidades, with Daniel Moreira

These two pieces establish communication, between each other and with the space of a darkened room. Evocative, retro-illuminated and juxtaposed elements of travel, reflect – through drawing and photography – on the possibilities to connect union and evasion.
The collaboration between Daniel and Rita advocates an idea of cutting through, which belongs to materials, to forms of representation, to the light that shows us what to see: from one way to the other, and back.
Cutting across and moving in a room as a challenge to extend the vision of the photographed object’s shape, the graphite stroke and the objects that have always been there – in that room we now occupy – as ghosts of some other intimate space.
