U.R.

U.R. was made for the group exhibition Quartel (Headquarters) a project about the Portuguese revolution of 25 of April of 1974 (which ended with 40 years of dictatorship).

UR is a fictional selling point of the “official” T-shirts of the project. It was installed in a record shop in the art galleries street of Porto.

The T-Shirts announced the University of Revolution, active in Portugal Since 1974. Each model presents a detail of a photograph of the revolution day – all photos were published in the press at the time of the coup d’état and are an important representation in the collective visual memory of the 25th of April.
