During our one-week residency in the mountains, residing is more of a crossing. The cadence of the daily walking sets the pace and the perspective of a place, to which two pauses are added: time to stop, time to think. And to recollect also: objects and images – mental and other.
From the unified entity of the mountain, often times matters get loose. Sticks, branches, stones, fruits, small animals, fog. Intriguing things with which we try to relate, recovering an image in its relation to ourselves and its origin. Everything belongs to the mountain and to another thing as well.
The trail is circular, and things are discovered along the way.
